Jawazat : 4 penalties awaiting for Expat Employer for employing workers for personal benefit


The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia warned business owners in the Kingdom against allowing workers to work for others or for their own personal benefit. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Facebook







Jawazat in the Kingdom explained that the business owner who allows his workers to work for others or for his own personal benefit will be subject to the following penalties.

1. A fine of up to 100,000 Saudi Riyals, fine to be multiplied with the number of people in violation of Labor Law regulations.

2. If the violator is an expat, he will be deported to his country from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

3. A jail term for a period of up to 6 months.





4. The violator employer will face recruitment ban for a maximum period of 5 years.

- The Saudi Jawazat also called the public to report violations of the residency and border security regulations by calling on the toll free number 911 from the region of Makkah and Riyadh and 999 for all the rest of the regions. - Earlier this, the passports department warned with a imprisonment of 6 months and a a fine of 50,000 riyals on those expatriates who engage in jobs for their own personal benefit, he will be deported after serving the jail term and payment of fines.
