Benefits and Symptoms of Booster dose of the Corona Vaccine - Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia confirmed that the booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine increases the body's immunity when it is low, it reduces the risk of infection, hospitalization and death due to Covid-19.
The health ministry said that booster dose increases the body's immunity for those who took 2nd dose before 6 months or more, it will help in protecting against the delta variant infection.
- The booster dose is important for those who are elderly, those who have chronic diseases and organ transplant patients and also reduces the chances of spreading the delta variant, which is considered as one of the most dangerous corona variant so far. - Any Individual who is 18 years old or above can get booster dose, 6 months after taking the 2nd dose, immunity should always remain at high levels against corona virus.
- The Ministry of Health explained the side effects of the third dose, including feeling tired and headache, pain at the injection side, muscle pain and feeling unwell, high temperature and body shivering.

- Active cases of Covid-19 slightly raised to 2,057 of them 50 cases are critical, Jeddah (244), Riyadh (142), Makkah (102), Madina (93) and Yanbu (67) tops in the list of active cases.
- Saudi Arabia's government has provided more than 47.14 million (47,142,258) doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers. In which 335,740 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,716,067 doses.
