Booster dose is important for the Elderly for 2 reasons - Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health said booster dose is important for the elderly, for 2 reasons, the first is that the chances of them being affected by infection are higher and the second reason is that their immunity is higher.
- The Ministry highlighted the importance of receiving the booster dose of the vaccine in order to prevent from the virus for those who have passed 6 months after taking 2nd dose. Trending : Saudi Arabia allows non-Saudis to invest in Real estate funds in Makkah and Madina
- “Because the immunity should always remain at high levels against viruses, take the booster dose who have passed 6 months after their second dose, the booster is available for the age group 18 years and above, to contribute for your protection” stated the Ministry of Health.
- During the last 24 hours, Saudi Arabia records 38 new corona infections, 59 recoveries and 1 death, raising the total corona cases to 549,060 of which 538,049 recovered with 8,807 deaths.
- Active cases of Corona further falls to 2,204 in the Kingdom, of which 49 cases are critical, Jeddah tops in active cases with 271, Riyadh with 160, while Madina has 98 active corona infections. Recommend : Expats in Saudi Arabia can make quarterly payment of dependent fee
- The Kingdom government has provided over 46.52 million (46,523,385) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom, of which 24.34 million are first doses and 21.8 million people received 2 doses and the elderly received 1.7 million doses of the vaccine. The health ministry also administered 296,352 booster doses as of Today in the Kingdom.
