Ministry of Health clarifies the effect of 2 dose Vaccination is stopping the outbreak of Corona virus in the Kingdom

The Ministry stated that the wave of corona infections that some countries are witnessing at the present time is due to the number of vaccinated people with the two doses was the difference in the level of the outbreak.
The health ministry said as example take two countries, the first country 'A' where the rate of vaccination with two doses reached 88%, and the number of corona infections reached 75 cases per 100,000 people. - While the second country 'B', the rate of vaccination with two doses reached 57%, and the number of corona infections reached 500 cases per 100,000 people.
- Today, Saudi Arabia reported just 31 new corona infections, 37 recoveries and 1 death in the past 24 hours, raising the total cases in the Kingdom to 549,443 of which 538,542 recovered with 8,823 deaths.
- The corona active cases in Saudi Arabia slightly decreases to 2,078 of which 47 are critical, increasing 3 cases since Yesterday. Jeddah (252), Riyadh (172), Makkah (93), Madina (85), Yanbu (68) tops in the list of active corona infections. Recommend : Saudi Moroor warns on dodging vehicles
- Saudi Arabia's health ministry has given over 47 million doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of which 327,426 are booster doses, while the elderly people received 1,713,998 doses.
- Over 22.1 million (22,184,908) people received two doses of the vaccine in the Kingdom, while 24.48 million (24,488,270) people received only one dose.
- Earlier this week, the Ministry explained that 97% of those infected with the Corona virus (Covid-19) in the Kingdom did not receive the vaccine, or took only one dose. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Facebook
- The ministry stated that 65% of the infected people are not immunized, 3% are immunized with two doses of the vaccine, and 32% of the infection rates among those vaccinated with only one dose.
