Ministry of Health confirms decrease in Corona infections and Epidemiological curve in Saudi Arabia
The official spokesperson of Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali announced that the world is witnessing a rise in corona infection rates in some countries, which has affected the performance of the health sectors.
During the press conference held Today, he said that the Kingdom is experiencing a stage with safe levels, a decline in the number of infections and a decrease in epidemiological curves, and the most important thing is that we maintain this level with awareness and vaccination.
- Al-Abdali added that, it is necessary to stick to procedures and precautions, and to leave a safe distance with others, when we think that there is crowding, calling for the need to stay away from contact with others when feeling corona symptoms, and to put face masks. - Today, The Ministry of Health announced 36 new corona cases, 48 recoveries and 1 deaths, raising the total corona cases in the Kingdom to 549,479 of which 538,590 recovered with 8,824 deaths.
- Active cases of Covid-19 further falls in the Kingdom to 2,065, in which 49 are critical and taking treatment in intensive cares, a increase of 2 critical cases since Yesterday. Jeddah (246), Riyadh (159), Makkah (96), Madina (88), Yanbu (68) tops in the list of active corona cases.

- As of now, the health ministry has administered over 47.04 million (47,047,245) doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers. Of which 330,540 doses are the 3rd doses, while 1,714,670 doses was administered to the elderly people.
