India allows Fully vaccinated Travelers from 99 Countries to skip Quarantine
Travelers from 99 countries, who are fully vaccinated against Corona virus have been exempted from mandatory quarantine of 14 days on arrival in India, as per the revised guidelines from Indian government. Download : Saudi Expatriates App now on Play Store
This exemption comes after India's agreement with 99 countries on mutual recognition of Corona virus certificates of nationally approved or the World Health Organization (WHO) approved vaccines.
- The list of 99 countries for those who are fully vaccinated and exempted from mandatory quarantine also includes Bangladesh, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Syria, Nepal, Sudan, Palestine, South Sudan, Russia, USA and UK. - However, Travelers from these 99 nations have to submit a self declaration form of their fully vaccinated status on Air Suvidha website. They also need to produce negative PCR test report which is not older than 72 hours.
- Travelers also need to submit a declaration form related to authenticity of the PCR report , which will be liable to criminal prosecution, if found otherwise. They must self-monitor their health for the 14 days beginning from the date of arrival in India.
