Kuwait resumes issuance of all categories of new visas for Expatriates


The Ministry of Interior in Kuwait announced the resumption of issuance of all types of visas for foreigners, including dependents, business, tourist and work visas.







However, the authorities revealed that visas will be issued only to people who are fully vaccinated with the vaccines approved by Kuwait (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson).

- The Interior Ministry in its statement said the department of residency affairs, in all regions of Kuwait would receive application for the new visas, stating that the applicant must book a show-up date on the ministry's website in advance. - Children below 16 years will be issued dependent or tourist visa based on the conditions set by the department. While resident expats applying for dependent visas must get a minimum salary of 500 Kuwaiti dinars.





- Foreigners or Expats must produce a vaccination certificate with a QR code to officials before the visas are issued, orders from the 2 authorities revealed it.

- Expatriates who received other types of vaccines not approved by Kuwait must receive a booster dose (3rd dose) from any of the approved vaccines and produce the certificate to officials in order to get visa. See Also : 5 advices on booster dose from Saudi health ministry





- The department of Residency Affairs at the Ministry of Interior added that dependent visas would only be issued to applicant's spouses.

- In case of children of Kuwaiti women married to foreigners, the department will issue dependent or tourist visas for them. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Google News
