Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia announced suspension of flights and direct entries from another 7 countries
The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia stated that based on the continuous follow-up to the epidemiological situation, and what the competent health authorities in the Kingdom have raised about the emergence of a mutated strain of the Corona virus (Covid-19) (Omicron) in a number of countries, and monitoring the transmission of infected people from it to other countries. The Ministry of Interior decided to suspend flights coming from and departure to the following countries
1. Republic of Malawi
2. Republic of Zambia
3. Republic of Madagascar
4. Republic of Angola
5. Republic of Seychelles
6. Republic of Mauritius

- The Ministry also suspended entry to the Kingdom for non-nationals (Expatriates), who come directly or indirectly from the above mentioned countries, Except for those who have spent a period of not less than 14 days in another country whose health procedures in the Kingdom allow entry to those coming from it, in accordance with the approved health procedures.
- The Interior Ministry provided that the entire approved institutional quarantine procedures for a period of 5 days shall be applied to all excluded groups of those coming from those countries, including citizens of the Kingdom, regardless of their vaccination status. Recommend : Direct entry to Saudi Arabia with 3 days quarantine for all countries for those who received 1 dose of corona vaccine in the Kingdom
- The Ministry of Interior highlighted that whoever entered the Kingdom from those previously announced countries or states, or passed through them after the date of November 1, 2021, is required to have a negative result for the PCR test for the virus, which he conducted after his arrival in the Kingdom.
- The Ministry explained that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent health authorities in the Kingdom, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation globally, while warning citizens and residents to avoid traveling to the aforementioned countries until further notice.
