Booster dose is now available 3 months after taking 2nd dose of Corona vaccine in Saudi Arabia
The Health Ministry in Saudi Arabia announced of reducing the time period for giving the booster dose from 6 months to 3 months from the date of vaccination with the second dose.
Today, The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced the registration of 252 new corona infections in the Kingdom after performing 65,669 covid-19 tests, during the past 24 hours, Which brings the total number of corona cases to 551,462.
- The health ministry also reported 109 new recoveries and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours, after which total recoveries reached 540,393 and deaths to 8,863 and the total number of corona tests done in the Kingdom so far has reached to 32,536,750. - Saudi government has administered more than 48.71 million (48,711,109) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of which 823,845 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,730,628 doses.
- The health ministry confirmed that over 24.9 million (24,901,754) people received one dose of corona vaccine, while more than 22.98 million (22,985,510) received two doses of the vaccine against covid-19.
- The Gulf Statistics Center announced that the number of Corona vaccines given in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries approached 92 million doses, while the recovery rate of the virus in Saudi Arabia reached 98%. Recommend : Tawasul service in Absher
- Yesterday, The health Ministry announced the start of vaccinating the age group from 5 to 11 years with the Corona vaccine, in order to ensure their safety and protect them from mutations and complications.
