Health Ministry links job performance and Allowance to Booster dose of Corona vaccine
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia sent an internal circular to its employees that included linking the disbursement of the excellence allowance and job performance assessment to taking the 3rd booster dose of the Coronavirus vaccine.
In the circular, the Ministry said, “In addition to the Undersecretary for Human Resources circular, which includes the appropriate controls, conditions and arrangements for approving requests for the payment of the excellence allowance for the fiscal year 2019, and the excellence allowance for the fiscal year 2020, and given the importance of all health practitioners receiving the third (booster) dose of the corona vaccine in order to maintain immunity.
- Accordingly, no requests will be accepted for the payment of the Excellence Allowance for the fiscal year 2019, and the Excellence Allowance for the fiscal year 2020 for those who have not received the third dose of the Corona vaccine after 6 months have passed from receiving the second dose. - The ministry also called on other health practitioners to take the third dose, saying, “Our dear colleagues, in the interest of your safety, and as an extension of the preventive measures against the Corona virus (Covid-19), we urge you to take the initiative to take the third booster dose of the vaccine, knowing that the speedy implementation of the above will be done, take it into account during job performance evaluation.
- Today, The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced a decrease in the number of corona critical cases in hospitals to 30 cases from 34 cases Yesterday, with a decrease of 4 cases. while the active corona cases stands at 1,891 in the Kingdom.
- In the last 24 hours, Saudi Arabia registered 85 new corona cases, 81 recoveries and 1 death, raising the total corona infections in the Kingdom to 550,542 of them 539,793 recovered with 8,858 deaths. Recommend : Saudi Arabia excluded these categories from taking corona test before coming to the Kingdom
- So far the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom has performed 32.18 million (32,183,531) corona tests since the beginning of the pandemic. In the past 24 hours, about 60,051 covid-19 tests done all over the Kingdom.
- Health Ministry of Saudi Arabia reveals it has administered over 48.26 million (48,263,966) doses of corona vaccine to Saudi nationals, resident expats and visitors all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of them 543,471 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,728,277 doses.
