Health Ministry specifies 4 reasons to receive the Booster dose of Corona vaccine
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia revealed the importance of the booster dose of the Corona vaccine, explained that it raises the body's immunity against infection with the Corona virus.
The ministry said that the booster dose maintains your level of immunity, take the third or booster dose and maintain your immunity level.
The ministry published an infographic in response to a question, Why the booster dose? stating there are 4 reasons why it is necessary to take the booster dose, and they are as follows:
1. The immunity of body decreases after exceeding 6 months of taking the second dose. Trending : Tawakkalna clarifies on the fact that Curfew permit has been added to the application
2. Decreased protection from the delta mutant and the risk of infection.
3. High chances of infection with the Corona virus, especially for the elderly and those who have chronic diseases and organ transplant patients.
4. The high chances of spreading the delta variant, which is considered the most dangerous variant so far.
- Today, Saudi Arabia records 287 new corona infections, 113 recoveries and 1 death in the last 24 hours, raising the total corona cases in the Kingdom to 551,749 of them 540,506 recovered with 8,868 deaths. Recommend : Kuwait announces new procedures for Arrivals and Departures from the country
- Active corona cases in the Kingdom further jumps to 2,375 of them 35 cases are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares. Riyadh tops in active corona cases with 333, Jeddah with 262, Makkah with 201, while Madina has 100 active corona cases.
- In the last 24 hours, the ministry of health has performed 63,737 covid-19 tests, so far 32,600,487 corona test done in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic.
- Saudi Arabia announced it has administered more than 49 million (49,030,840) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers. Of which 1,088,918 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,731,473 doses.
