Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health reveals the Vaccination of new Age group in the coming Days
The official spokesperson if the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali revealed that, in the coming period, ministry will start giving doses of Corona vaccines to children for the age group of 5 years and over. Like and Follow Saudi Expatriates on Facebook
During Yesterday's press conference, He stated that the Omicron corona variant was detected in nearly half of the world's countries, explaining that the high curve of infections in the Kingdom during the last period is worrying.
- The Ministry of Health highlighted the importance of receiving the booster dose in order to prevent the spread of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19). "In order to always be well, maintain your level and get the booster dose" tweeted the Ministry on its Twitter. - Today (On 20th December), The Ministry of Health announced 146 new corona infections, 99 new recoveries and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours and the total corona cases in the Kingdom reached to 550,988 of them 540,178 recovered while 8,864 left this world due to the complications with virus.
- Active cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom further raised to 1,946 of them 31 are critical. Jeddah tops in the list of active corona infections with 197, Riyadh with 160, Makkah with 123, while Madina has 98 corona infections.
- So far the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has administered 48.41 million (48,415,947) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of them 587,809 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,729,805 doses. - The Ministry of Health also reported more than 22.94 million (22,947,942) are the second doses, while 24,880,196 people received only one dose of the vaccine against corona virus.
