A new mechanism for entering Shopping malls, commercial centers through Tawakkalna - Ministry of Commerce
The Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia has developed a new mechanism to verify obtaining the Corona vaccine for entering shopping malls, commercial centers and complexes in the Kingdom. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Linkedin
The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, Abdul Rahman Al-Hussein, announced the implementation of automated health verification service of the Tawakkalna application will contribute in raising the rates of commitment and compliance with the precautionary measures in order to prevent the Corona virus in shopping malls, commercial centers and complexes.
- Al-Hussein explained that the customer should scan the barcode through the “Tawakkalna” application before entering commercial centers and complexes, to automatically check the status of immunization. - He pointed out that commercial establishments must set the scan code for automatic health verification permits at the entry points, and allocate employees to ensure that customers scan the barcode before entering, taking into account on the commitment of social distancing and face masks.
- He also said that all small shops in the retail sector, such as catering, laundries, barbershops and sewing and the similar, are obliged to verify in the normal way by informing the facility employee of the health status in the “Tawakkalna” application.
- The spokesperson added that the automated health verification service in the “Tawakkalna” application will contribute in raising the rates of commitment and compliance with the precautionary measures in order to prevent the “Corona” virus in shopping malls, commercial centers and complexes.
