Vehicles only with Yellow number plates are authorized to Transport Goods in Saudi Arabia
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) in Saudi Arabia revealed that only those vehicles, which have yellow number plates, are permitted for transporting goods in the Kingdom. Recommend : Fines for using Shisha in public park or places in Saudi Arabia
The authority warned against transporting goods through the vehicles that do not comply with the terms and regulations issued in this regard, as it does not guarantee the person his rights such as regularity. The Public Transport Authority posted a video on social media to educate and aware the public about the need to comply with the regulations for the use of vehicles with yellow plates to transport goods, as they are authorized to operate in this field.
- The PTA called on those wishing to enter this field to take advantage of the encouraging initiative by obtaining a license to transport goods to make the process legal.
- The authority through its tweet sated that, "Your interaction with the regular carrier to transport goods activity on the roads preserves your property and guarantees your rights, and is consistent with the initiative to correct the situation of individuals and facilities in the transport sector, and combat cover-up in it."
