Rate of Vaccination with 2 doses in Saudi Arabia reached to 94%, for the age group of above 12 years
The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia, Fahd Al-Jalajel said that the capacity of the intensive care units (ICUs) now is equivalent to the capacity of the last 20 years. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Whatsapp group
He explained that the intensive care is the highest stage of health care and the highest cost, and the absorptive capacity of ICUs was raised during the pandemic only in all regions of the Kingdom, more than it was raised during the past 20 years.

- He added that, Four specialized laboratories and others were opened in all regions of Saudi Arabia, to reach the Kingdom and exceed 120,000 Corona tests per day, which put the Kingdom at the first level in the Covid test rates in the G20 countries, and the rate of vaccination with two doses in the community reached the total target group over the age of the age of 12 to 94%, and the immunization rate of the existing population is 74%.
- Today, The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced the registration of 64 new corona infections, 77 recoveries and 2 deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing up the total corona cases in the Kingdom to 550,304 of them 539,554 recovered, while 8,855 people left this world due to the complications with the virus. - Corona active cases in Saudi Arabia falls to 1,895 of them 31 cases are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares. Jeddah tops in the list with 211 active corona cases, Makkah with 96, Madina with 95, while Riyadh has 93 active corona infections.
- So far the Kingdom has provided more than 48.1 million (48,104,418) doses of corona vaccine to Saudi nationals, resident expats and visitors all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of them 503,515 are booster doses (3rd dose) and the elderly people received 1.72 million (1,726,599) doses.
