Saudi Railways (SAR) to provide Passenger Transportation Services, To and From its stations in cooperation with Uber
The Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR), in cooperation with the Saudi Uber Company Limited, announced the launch of the “transportation of passengers to and from its stations” service on its flights using the application.
Saudi Railways Company in its statement added that, this comes with the aim of easing the transportation process for customers from SAR stations to their final destinations.
- Saudi Railways explained that, the service in its first phase, under the partnership agreement signed for two years, will cover stations, Riyadh, Qassim, Hofouf and Dammam. Trending : Immune status in Tawakkalna is a condition in order to use public transportation in Saudi Arabia
- The second phase of the agreement is scheduled to witness coverage of the stations of Al Majmaah, Hail, Al Jawf, Qurayyat and Abqaiq.
- This service allows Saudi Railways (SAR) customers to make their reservations for the service directly using the Uber application. This is before they reach the station to allow them to reach their final destinations safely, quickly and comfortably.
- The service will be provided in cooperation between SAR and Uber, it will enhance the level of transportation services for SAR passengers, and its direct contribution to saving time and effort for them. - According to the agreement, 3 locations will be allocated to transport passengers to users of the Uber application, in the arrival area of the stations, all of which are equipped with guiding systems to direct SAR customers at the moment of their arrival towards the designated reception sites.
- As per the statement, SAR will work with Uber jointly with the aim of strengthening the existing partnership between them within SAR stations, as well as on trains and the website, including the application for each of the parties to this agreement, With the aim of improving the customer experience and encouraging them to make advance transfer bookings.
