Saudi Arabia administered more than 48 million doses of Corona Vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers
The Deputy Minister for Preventive Health and the Infectious Diseases Consultant, Dr. Abdullah bin Mufreh Asiri, said that the death rates in the Kingdom have never returned to the levels of the beginning of the Corona pandemic, explaining that the continuous mutations of the Corona virus have not changed the patterns of severe disease. He said that the flu mutates at least once a year and no one cares except specialists. The Ministry of Health published an illustration showing low death rates. He highlighted that vaccines have played and are playing major role in preventing deaths from returning to the levels of first wave.

- Today, Saudi Arabia announces 53 new corona infections, 71 recoveries and 1 death in the past 24 hours, after which the total corona cases in the Kingdom reaches to 550,189 of them 539,409 recovered with 8,852 deaths.
- Active corona cases in Saudi Arabia slightly drops to 1,928 of them 27 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares. In the past 24 hours, Ministry of Health has done 33,895 corona tests, so far more than 31.94 million (31,942,358) corona tests.
- The Ministry of Health has provided more than 48 million (48,016,196) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of them 483,294 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,725,641 doses. - The Ministry's official data shows, over 22.76 million (22,768,339) people received two doses of corona vaccine, while more than 24.76 million (24,764,563) people received only one dose.
