Saudi Arabia administered over 50 million doses of Corona vaccine, Corona Active cases jumps to 3,891
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced it has administered over 50.1 million (50,137,152) doses of corona vaccine to Saudi citizens, resident expatriates and visitors all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers. The ministry also reported that, out of the total 50.1 million doses, 2 million (2,037,347) doses are third or booster doses and the elderly people received 1,733,776 doses.
- The official data from ministry shows more than 24.98 million people received only one dose of the vaccine, while over 23.11 million (23,117,819) people received two doses of the vaccine against corona virus. - Today (on 28th December), The Ministry of Health registered 602 new corona infections, 147 new recoveries and 1 death in the last 24 hours, increasing the total corona cases in the Kingdom to 553,921 of them 541,157 recovered with 8,873 deaths.
- Corona active cases in the Kingdom jumps to 3,891 of them 39 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares. Riyadh tops in the list with 827 active cases, Jeddah with 582, Makkah with 569, while Madina has 165 active corona cases.
- In the last 24 hours, the Ministry of health has conducted 80,804 corona tests and so far 32,965,869 covid-19 tests since the beginning of the pandemic in the Kingdom. Join Saudi Expatriates group on Whatsapp
