Active corona cases slightly drops to 44,155 in the Kingdom after 6,090 recoveries and 4,884 new infections on 21st January
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced 4,884 new corona infections, 6,090 recoveries and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours and on 21st January, 2022, After which the total corona virus cases in the Kingdom reached to 643,211 of them 590,140 recovered with 8,916 deaths. Active cases of Covid-19 slightly drops to 44,155 of them 591 are critical, pushing 51 people to intensive care since Yesterday. Riyadh tops in the list of active cases with 12,444, Jeddah with 6,284, while Makkah has 3,447, Madina with 1,799, Dammam with 1,380, Hofouf with 1,375 active corona infections.

- The Ministry of Health confirmed of the total doses, nearly 6 million (5,995,849) are booster doses, while the elderly people received 1,929,685 doses of the vaccine against corona virus.
- The health ministry's official statistics shows over 25.31 million (25,312,053) people received only one dose of corona vaccine, while 23,533,435 doses were the second doses in the Kingdom.
- The Ministry explained that, it is necessary to book an appointment to receive the corona vaccine through Sehhaty application and the appointments are scheduled in the vaccine center on an ongoing basis, with the availability of appointments in your city will be shown directly on application.
