Corona active cases in Saudi Arabia reaches 20,630, pushing 134 to critical care as of 8th January
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health reported 3,068 new corona infections, 793 recoveries and 2 deaths, after performing 125,292 covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours and on 8th January 2022.
Total corona cases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has further raised to 575,293 of them 545,771 cured, while 8,892 people left this world due to the complications with Covid-19. So far the health ministry has conducted 34,161,969 corona tests since the beginning of the pandemic in the Kingdom.
- Corona active cases in the Kingdom has risen to 20,630 of them 134 are critical, increasing 17 cases to intensive cares since Yesterday. Trending : Now women in Saudi Arabia can become Taxi drivers
- Riyadh tops in the list active corona cases with 5,385 cases, Jeddah with 4,158 active cases, Makkah with 2,858 infections, Hofouf with 784, Madina with 727, while Dammam has 684 active corona infections.
- Saudi government has given over 52.36 million (52,363,923) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers.
- Of the total, booster (3rd) doses are 3,951,828 and the elderly people received 1,922,479 doses of vaccine against corona virus. Recommend : Saudi Arabia launches electronic visa for Cruise Tourists
- The health ministry also announced more than 25 million (25,097,456) people received at least one dose of the vaccine, while more than 23.31 million (23,314,639) doses were the 2nd doses.
- Earlier this, Ministry of Health stated that when the person recovered from Covid-19, he or she can receive the booster doses, as per the current recommendations, those recovered from virus should receive booster dose of the vaccine after at least 10 days of infection.
