Corona deaths are almost not exist in this Category, Active corona cases in Saudi Arabia falls below 40,000
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced 4,738 new corona cases, 4,973 recoveries and 2 deaths after performing 163,777 covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours and on 27th January 2022.
The total corona cases as of now in the Kingdom reaches to 670,997 of them 622,087 recovered with 8,929 deaths due to the complications with the virus. So far the health ministry has performed 37,312,851 corona tests since the beginning of the pandemic in the country.
- Active cases of Corona virus in Saudi Arabia further drops to 39,981 of them 825 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares. Since Yesterday 36 cases shifted to critical care in the Kingdom. - Saudi Arabia has so far administered over 56.33 million (56,332,758) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers. Of them 7,215,509 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,932,651 doses.
- The Ministry of Health also reported that over 25.58 million (25,480,931) people received first dose of corona vaccine, while more than 23.63 million (23,636,318) doses are the second doses of the vaccine against corona virus.

- He added that, deaths resulting from infection with corona are almost non-existent among those who complete the vaccination.
