Critical cases are 16 times lesser than in Previous waves, its because of Vaccinations
The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, confirmed that critical cases in the Kingdom are 16 times lesser than the previous waves at the beginning of the pandemic, and this is because of vaccinations.
Al-Abdali in a video clip on the ministry's Twitter account said that, this point must be considered with great value for all the efforts made by members of society during the last period in facing the corona pandemic.
- Today (On 12th January), The Ministry of health announced 5,362 new corona infections, 2,499 recoveries and 2 deaths, after conducting 152,921 corona tests. Trending : Clarification from Human Resources on termination of employment contracts
- After this, total corona cases in the Kingdom reaches to 593,545 of them 552,057 recovered with 8,899 deaths, so far the health ministry has performed 34,567,571 covid-19 tests since the beginning of the pandemic.
- Active corona cases in Saudi Arabia further raised and reaches to 32,589 of them 218 are critical, pushing 28 cases to intensive cares in the last 24 hours.

- The Kingdom government has administered over 53.15 million (53,156,135) doses of corona vaccine to Saudi citizens, resident expatriates and visitors all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers for free.
- The Ministry also announced that it has provided more than 4,604,216 booster doses, 23,396,388 second doses and 25,155,531 first doses so far. Elderly people in the Kingdom received 1,925,301 doses of corona vaccine. Follow Saudi Expatriates on imo mobile app
