Does the pilgrim need to take Booster dose to perform Umrah? Ministry of Hajj response
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia confirmed that “Immune” status in Tawakkalna application is a condition for issuing an Umrah permit. Follow Saudi Expatriates channel on imo mobile app
This came in response from Hajj Ministry after one of the beneficiaries inquired, asking, “Does the pilgrim need to take the booster dose from February to perform Umrah, stating that he is vaccinated with two doses?” Read more : Starting Tomorrow, Booster dose is a condition for the continuation of Immune status
- The official Twitter account for the care of customers of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah responded it stating, "In order to issue a permit to perform Umrah, a status of 'Immune' must appear in Tawakkalna."
- The ministry added that, "The age groups authorized to issue a permit for Umrah or to enter the Two Holy Mosques in the current situation are 12 years and above, with the condition that Immune (Protected) status appears in Tawakkalna, and the bookings are through the Eatmarna application."
