Saudi Moroor message to Abandoned and Damaged vehicle owners, Clarification on seat-belt violation for Passenger beside Driver

Saudi Moroor invited to take advantage of the Cabinet’s decision, to grant owners of neglected or damaged vehicles, who wish to drop the vehicles from their records, during a corrective period for a year starting from 1st March 2022 (28/7/1443). - The administration confirmed that those who would transfer the ownership of his damaged or neglected vehicle to the shops selling the deregistered vehicles (removal) or the approved iron press shops, during that time limit, will be exempted from the fees and fines experience from that.





- Earlier this, The General Traffic Department said that the violation for not wearing a seat belt includes for both the driver and the person beside him.

- This came in response from Moroor, after a question was received on the official Twitter account of the Traffic department, in which he asked, “Does failure to fasten the passenger’s seat belt even though the driver of the vehicle is fastening his belt is a violation?” Most Viewed : Women in Saudi Arabia are now allowed to become Taxi drivers
