Ministry of HR reminds, one of the right of the Worker is to medically insured
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia renewed the reminder of workers rights to insure medically in accordance with the Saudi labor law.
The ministry through its official "Customer Care" account on Twitter said that, medical insurance is one of the legally established rights of the worker in the Kingdom. See Also : Husband's employer is obligated to insure children in case of wife is working with another employer
- The Ministry of Human Resources added that Article 144 of the Saudi Labor Law stipulates that “the employer must provide his workers with preventive and curative health care in accordance with standard set forth by the Minister, taking into account what is provided by the cooperative health insurance law.”
- Earlier this, The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) clarified that the new employer is responsible to insure the worker and his dependents when the worker moves to a new job. Recommend : Medical insurance of expat can be cancelled only in 3 cases
