Saudi Arabia administered over 55 million doses of Corona vaccine, Active Corona cases falls to 44,139
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced 4,608 new corona infections, 4,622 recoveries and 2 deaths, after conducting 142,887 covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours and on 22nd January 2022.
After this, the total corona virus cases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached to 647,819 of them 594,762 recovered while 8,918 people left this world due to the complications with the virus. So far the Ministry of Health has performed 36,494,942 corona tests since the beginning of the pandemic.
- Active corona cases slightly falls to 44,139 in the Kingdom of them 637 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares of the hospitals and medical facilities. - Riyadh tops in the list of active corona cases with 12,222, Jeddah with 6,196, Makkah with 3,433, Madina with 1,684, Dammam with 1,489, while Hofouf has 1,237 active corona infections.
- Saudi Arabia has administered over more than 54.84 million (55,042,256) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom and its regions. Of them 5,995,849 are the booster doses and the elderly people received 1,929,685 doses.

- Earlier this week, the Ministry of Health announced that Corona vaccine is now available for children for the age group of 5 to 11 years, and that booking appointments is available through Sehhaty and Tawakkalna applications.
