Saudi Arabia announces 4,778 new Corona cases in last 24 hours, Total Active cases 27,129
Saudi Arabia registered 4,778 new corona infections, 893 recoveries and 2 deaths after performing 128,418 covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours and on 10th January 2022.
The total number of corona cases in the Kingdom increased to 583,531 of them 547,507 recovered, while 8,895 people left this world due to the complications with the virus. So far the Ministry of Health has performed 34.41 million (34,414,650) corona tests since the beginning of the pandemic in the Kingdom.
- Corona active cases in the Kingdom further jumps to 27,129 of them 154 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares of the hospitals and medical facilities. - Riyadh tops in the list of active corona cases with 7,264, while Jeddah has 5,703, Makkah with 3,513 active cases, Madina with 924, Dammam with 923, Hofouf has 919 active corona infections.
- Saudi government has provided more than 52.75 million (52,751,963) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of them 4,272,768 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,923,886 doses.

- During Yesterday's Press conference, The official spokesperson of health ministry said, it is not required to conduct a corona test for employees in the work sector.
- He added, some may require in the field of work, whether they are workers or employees, to take mark to check on their health, highlighting that what is only required is to verify the status on Tawakkalna application.
