Saudi Arabia registers 5,928 corona cases, 4,981 recoveries and 2 deaths on 19th January
Saudi Arabia's Health Ministry registered 5,928 new corona infections, 4,981 recoveries and 2 deaths, after conducting 212,169 covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours and on 19th January, 2022.
Total corona cases in the Kingdom increases to 632,736 of them 578,812 recovered with 8,912 deaths. So far, the Health Ministry has performed 35,935,167 corona tests since the beginning of the pandemic in the Kingdom.
- Corona active cases in the Kingdom further raises to 45,012 of them 492 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares of the hospitals and medical facilities. - Riyadh tops in the list of active corona infections with 12,704, Jeddah with 7,265, Makkah with 3,798, Madina with 1,920, Hofouf with 1,403, while Dammam has 1,374 active corona cases.
- So far, Saudi Arabia has vaccinated 54.41 million (54,414,686) doses of corona vaccine to Saudi nationals, resident expats and visitors all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers for free.
- The Ministry of Health reported that over 5.6 million (5,667,494) people received booster doses and the elderly people received 1,928,863 doses of vaccine against corona virus. Recommend : Nearly 1.05 million expats left Saudi Arabia after the implementation of Expat levy
- The Ministry's official statistics reported, more than 25.23 million (25,239,915) people received only one dose of the vaccine, while 23,507,277 doses are the second doses.
- The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, said that the intensive care beds are ready and available, but we hope that no one will be admitted to intensive care because of Corona, by following to the precautionary measures and receiving vaccinations.
- The health spokesman confirmed that the booster doses are available for age group of 16 years and above, stating that no doses will be available and it is invited to obtain them unless it is secure, efficacy and safety. Subscribe to Saudi Expatriates on YouTube
