Saudi Arabia reports 3,168 Corona infections, 2 deaths, Total deaths 8,888 as of 6th January
Saudi Arabia's health ministry announced the registration of 3,168 new corona infections, 608 recoveries and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours and as on 6th January, 2022.
The total corona cases in the Kingdom increases to 568,650, of them 544,161 recovered, while 8,888 people left this world, due to the complications with Covid-19.
- Active cases of Corona virus in the Kingdom jumps to 15,601 of which 117 cases are critical, 8 cases move to intensive care since Yesterday. Trending : Ministry of Health announced medical isolation required for corona infected people who are vaccinated and non-vaccinated
- Riyadh tops in the list of active corona cases with 4,004, Jeddah with 3,040, Makkah with 2,315, Hofouf with 667, Madina with 567, while Dammam has 562 active corona infections.
- The health ministry has administered 52 million (52,027,129) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom governorates and regions through its 587 vaccination centers.
- Of the total doses administered, over 3.6 million (3,658,015) are booster doses, and the elderly people received 1,921,668 doses of the vaccine against corona virus. Recommend : Is pilgrim allowed to travel between Makkah and Madina during his Umrah visa validity
- The health ministry also reports over 23,287,932 doses are the second doses received by the people, while more than 25 million (25,081,182) people received only one dose of the corona vaccine.
- Earlier, The Ministry of Health spokesperson, Dr. Mohammad Al-Abdali said despite the increase in number of infections, only few of them need intensive care and this is due to the results of vaccines.
