Active and Critical corona cases in Saudi Arabia continues to fall and reaches 12,910 and 609
On 27th February, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health has performed 62,941 covid-19 tests and announced 632 new corona infections, 995 recoveries and 2 deaths in the past 24 hours.
The total cases of Covid-19 in Saudi Arabia reaches to 744,374 of them 722,468 recovered, while 8,996 people left this world due to the complications with corona virus. So far the Ministry of Health has conducted over 40,641,112 corona tests since the beginning of the pandemic in the Kingdom.
- Active corona cases in the Kingdom continues to fall and reached to 12,910, as the recoveries overcomes with the infections. Critical cases also continues to drop and stands at 609, in the last 24 hours, 3 people left intensive care units.
- As the population is highest in Riyadh, it continues to top in the list of active corona cases with 3,451 active infections, Jeddah with 2,002, Makkah with 554, Dammam with 542 active cases and the remaining cities has lower active infections.
- Saudi Arabia's government has provided over 60.88 million (60,884,285) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom and its regions through 587 vaccination centers.
- According to Ministry of Health statistics, over 10.68 million people received booster doses, while 24.16 million people received two doses and 25.93 million people received first dose and the elderly people received over 1,945,951 doses against corona virus.
- The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, had said that the incubation period for the Omicron variant in the infected person is 3 days, shorter than that of other variants of Corona virus.
