Is booster dose a condition to enter into Saudi Arabia? Jawazat response and Find out who can travel from and to the Kingdom
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia has clarified the possibility of entry to the Kingdom without receiving the third or booster dose.
This came in response from Jawazat official Twitter account to a question received, asking, "Peace be upon you, Is the third dose a condition for entering into Saudi Arabia for resident expatriates?"
- The Jawazat responded it stating, “The instructions require the visa and the iqama of the resident expat to be valid, with an approved document for a negative PCR test taken before 48 hours of departure to enter the Kingdom.” Trending : Updating the measures to the pilgrims coming to Kingdom for performing Umrah
The Ministry of Health stated that the categories allowed to travel from the Kingdom are:
1. Saudi Citizens who received the third or booster dose of the corona vaccine.
2. Those who did not exceed 3 months after receiving the second dose.
3. Saudi Citizens under 16 years of age.
4. The excluded categories according to what appears in the Tawakkalna application.
Procedures for those coming to the Kingdom including Saudi citizens:
* Submitting a negative result for an approved PCR test taken within 48 hours from the time of departure, excluding those who are below 8 years of age. Recommend : GACA updates travel procedures for airlines entering and leaving Kingdom
* Citizens infected with the Coronavirus are allowed to come to the Kingdom after the following period of time has passed, with no re-test requirement.
- 7 days from the date of taking the positive sample for those who completed the approved vaccine doses.
