Is it permissible to perform Hajj pilgrimage on Business visa of Saudi Arabia? Hajj Ministry response
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia confirmed that, it is not allowed to perform Hajj rituals this year on a business visa, in order to perform Hajj pilgrimage a special Hajj visa is required. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Instagram
This came in response to a question which was received on the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Twitter account, in which the user asked that, he has a business visa, so is it permissible for him to apply to perform Hajj this year? - The ministry clarified it on Twitter in stating to the inquiry that, "the rituals of Hajj pilgrimage can be performed only those who hold a visa designated for Hajj, or reside in Kingdom with regular residence permit (iqama) or National identity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
- Earlier this, The ministry of Hajj and Umrah clarified that in order to perform Umrah for those who are inside Saudi Arabia, the permit must be issued from the applications Eatmarna or Tawakkalna, and that the user's data be updated with the Absher system, with the condition that the status appears as a Immune in Tawakkalna.
