King Fahd Causeway announces the update of procedures for Entering or Leaving Saudi Arabia
The General Corporation of King Fahd Causeway announced the update of the procedures while exiting and entering into Saudi Arabia, starting from 1 AM in the morning of Wednesday, 9th February, 2022.
The King Fahd Foundation through its official Twitter account said that for Saudi citizens to exit outside the Kingdom, it is required to take the booster dose (3rd dose) of the Corona vaccine, for all those who have been 3 months from receiving the second dose.

- The authority continued, "The requirements also include obligating all arrivals to the Kingdom, including citizens and residents, regardless of their vaccination status to submit a negative result for an approved "PCR" test within 48 hours from the date of departure or entry to the Kingdom. With the exception of those who are below 8 years of age, taking into account the regulations of countries of origin related to analysis procedures for children.
- The Foundation further added that citizens who, as a result of the tests showed that they were infected with the Covid-19, are allowed to enter the Kingdom after 7 days have passed from the date of the positive sample for those who completed receiving approved vaccine doses in the Kingdom, and 10 days from the date of taking the positive sample for those who did not complete receiving approved vaccine doses in the Kingdom, without the need for re-testing.
