No extension of grace period for violators of Tasattur (Anti-Cover-up System) after 16th February


The National Program for Combating Commercial Concealment (Tasattur) said that there will be no extension of the grace period for violators of the anti-cover-up system, it will end on Wednesday, 16th Feb, 2022.







The Ministry of Commerce urged all violators of the anti-cover-up system to rectify their status, especially establishments with annual revenues of "2 million riyals" and take advantage of the corrective period, and avoid the application of deterrent statutory penalties of up to 5 years imprisonment or a fine of 5 million riyals or both, including the seizure of illegal assets and funds involved in the financial crime. - The program confirmed the continuation of receiving correction requests until the end of the period through the website of the Ministry of Commerce (mc.gov.sa), and violators can benefit from the correction options specified in the Regulation for Correcting Status, which are,





* Partnership in the facility between Saudi citizen and non-Saudi.

* Registration of the facility in the name of a non-Saudi.

* Continuation of the Saudi in practicing the activity by introducing a new partner in the facility.

* Non-Saudi obtaining the premium residency

* Non-Saudi leaving the Kingdom.
