Saudi Founding Day events and celebrations including Sky Show in Riyadh
People of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are celebrating the first ever Founding day holiday, which dates back to the year 1139 AH / 1727 AD, when Imam Muhammad bin Saud established the first Saudi state.
The following founding day activities include:
The Beginning March (Founding Day Parade) in Riyadh's Wadi Namar:
On February 22, "Founding Day Parade" event will include 3,500 performers with their purebred horses. It includes 10 awe-inspiring shows on the founding Day and presented with the sweetest melodies in the voice of artists. Entry starts between 7 PM to 9:30 PM, the show to star at 10 PM and lasts an hour and a half. The entry conditions include compliance with the applicable terms and conditions and the appearance of Immune status in Tawakkalna.
Founding Day Operetta in Riyadh's Mohammed Abdu Arena :
On February 23, Immerse yourself in this epic operetta that takes you back to the first days of Saudi Arabia. Where we celebrate the founder and other historical icons throughout three centuries in a musical event. Entries will be allowed for this event from 7 PM, while the show starts 10 PM and lasts up to 11 PM.
Founding Day Sky Show in Riyadh at King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Road / Prince Turki Ibn Abdulaziz AlAwwal Road :
On February 24, This event does not require tickets, Look up! Riyadh's breathtaking fireworks and drone show. A night to cherish and remember as 10 paintings magically blend with mesmerizing music that will turn Riyadh’s sky into a canvas of light. Open Area for watch the show, it will start at 10 PM and last for half hour.
Majlis in Riyadh's National Museum :
From February 22 to 24, A mind-enriching dose awaits you at Majlis cultural event. Explore thought-provoking workshops, talks, and discussions that will uncover the cultural history of the Saudi First State like never before. The event starts at 4 PM.
