Saudi Health Ministry announces 4 Corona deaths in the last 24 hours, Total 8,947
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia registered 3,852 new corona infections, 4,638 recoveries and 4 deaths, after conducting 142,676 corona tests during the past 24 hours and on 3rd February 2022.
Total corona virus cases in the Kingdom raised to 699,069 of them 653,972 recovered with 8,947 deaths due to the complications with the virus. So far the health ministry has performed more than 38.3 million (38,309,090) covid-19 tests since the beginning of the pandemic.

- Riyadh tops in the list of active corona cases with 11,903, Jeddah with 3,913, Makkah with 2,059, Dammam with 1,670, Hofouf with 1,448, while Madina has 1,060 active corona infections.
- Saudi Arabia has provided more than 57.92 million (57,920,287) doses of corona vaccine to its citizens, resident expats and visitors all over the Kingdom and its regions through 587 vaccination centers. Elderly people received about 1,935,701 doses of the vaccine.

- Yesterday, the Ministry of Health clarified that Omicron variant is considered to spread faster than original virus and the infection can infect the vaccinated person too.
- The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health stated the possibility of getting booster dose of the corona vaccine directly after recovery from infection.
