Saudi Arabia reports 1,726 new Corona infections, Total Active cases falls to 28,761
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced 1,726 new corona infections, 2,983 recoveries and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours and on 12th Feb, 2022, after performing 87,854 covid-19 tests.
The total corona cases in Saudi Arabia has now reached to 726,251 of them 68,519 recovered with 8,971 deaths, due to the complications with the virus. So far the health ministry has conducted over 39.4 million (39,400,621) covid-19 tests since the beginning of the pandemic in the Kingdom.
- Active cases of corona falls to 28,761 with 1,020 critical. Since Yesterday, 20 cases left intensive cares of the hospitals and medical facilities.
- Riyadh tops in the list of active corona cases with 9,029, Jeddah with 3,040, Makkah with 1,606, Dammam with 1,399, Hofouf with 1,046 and Madina with 1,000 active corona infections.
- So far, Saudi Arabia has provided more than 59.28 million (59,286,167) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers. Of them 9,638,367 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,939,786 doses.
- The Ministry of Health also reported that over 23.9 million (23,903,562) doses were the second doses given to the people, while over 25.74 million (25,744,238) people received only one dose of the vaccine against corona virus.
