Violation of not fastening seat belt includes Passengers on the Vehicle - Saudi Moroor
The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia clarified that, the violation of not fastening seat belt is not limited to the vehicle's driver, it also includes the passengers.
The Saudi Moroor response came after a person inquired, whether the passenger would be subjected to a violation in case he did not fasten up the seat belt in the vehicle. Read : Absher provides service for issuing number plates with logos and distinctive designs
- The General Directorate of Traffic confirmed that the Traffic law requires the passengers to buckle their seatbelts, while the vehicle is on the road.
- Those who failed to fasten the seatbelt will subject to fine whether it is driver or passengers, clarified Saudi Moroor, reported Saudi Gazette.
