Ministry allows 9 vaccines received abroad to enter into the Kingdom and to process in Tawakkalna
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced that, nine vaccines approved to enter into the Kingdom, which can be submitted for approval when it received outside the Kingdom and can register through the website.
The 9 approved vaccines to enter into Saudi Arabia incudes
1. Pfizer
2. Moderna
3. Oxford (AstraZeneca) Similar : Saudi Arabia approves equivalence of CoviShield to AstraZeneca
4. Johnson and Johnson (Janssen)
5. Sinopharm
6. Sinovac
7. Covaxin
8. Sputnik-V (Gamaleya) and
9. Covax See Also : Saudi Arabia approved only 4 vaccines inside the Kingdom
Adoption request service of Corona Vaccines inside the Kingdom :
The Ministry of Health announced that the service of submitting a request to approve Corona vaccines inside the Kingdom allows Saudi citizens and resident expatriates to submit requests for registering Corona vaccines approved in the Kingdom, which obtained outside the Kingdom for the Ministry of Health systems, in order to be processed and added to the Tawakkalna application.
How to Get the Service :
The service can be obtained by submitting the application and filling out the form, which will be processed to confirm acceptance and send it to link with the Tawakkalna application or rejection.
Requirements for availing this service :
* A National ID or Iqama or Visitor ID. Recommend : Jawazat calls all those coming to Saudi Arabia to register their vaccination status before arrival
* A copy of passport and a copy of vaccination certificate are the required documents.
* Documents must be in PDF format and the size of it should not exceed 1 MB.
* It is prohibited to file a new request, in case of existing one.
* For validation of certificates, personal data must be shown in certificate, it should be in English or Arabic or French or a certified translation into Arabic.
* Certificate must state the name of the vaccine, date and batch number clearly.
* Period required between two doses is 14 days.
