Saudi Central Bank sets Working Hours and Holidays for Banks and Remittances during the Holy month Ramadan
The Saudi Central Bank announced the working hours of its branches, offices and transfer centers affiliated with Kingdom banks during the holy month Ramadan, and the authority also announced holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha for the year 2022 (1443 AH).
Working hours for Banks during Ramadan :
The daily working hours of banks for dealing with the public during the working days of Ramadan month are 6 hours and that is from 10 AM in the morning to 4 PM in the evening, confirmed the Saudi Central Bank. Working hours for Remittance centers during Ramadan :
- While for the bank's financial transfer centers there will be flexible 6 working hours during the holy month Ramadan. Starting from 9.30 AM in the morning to 5.30 PM in the evening.
Holidays for Banks and Remittance centers for Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha :
The Saudi Central Bank announces Eid Al-Fitr holidays starting from the end of the work on Thursday, 28th April 2022 (27th Ramadan 1443) until 8th May 2022 (7th Shawwal 1443). Most Viewed : Things to do and not to do in public during Ramadan in Saudi Arabia
- For Eid Al-Adha the holidays for banks and remittance centers begins at the end of the work on Wednesday, 6th July 2022 (7th Dhu Al-Hijjah) and the banks will resume their work on Wednesday 13th July 2022 (14th Dhu Al-Hijjah).
The offices of Banks and their seasonal branches in the cities of Hajjaj Air and Sea and the holy sites in Makkah and Madina and at the border crossings will remain open continuously during the Hajj season, including Friday and Saturday in order to serve pilgrims and visitors. - The circular also stipulated the commitment of banks to open a number of their branches, in addition to the number of branches of money transfer centers in populated and crowded areas and places where there is a need, and at airports and various border crossings, to work for certain periods during the holidays.
