Friendly Settlements for Labor Disputes to improve working conditions of Expatriates
The Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs in Ministry of Human Resources in Saudi Arabia, Faisal Al-Foudan said that the Friendly Settlement is an electronic platform for settling labor disputes in the Kingdom. Join Saudi Expatriates imo channel on Mobile
During his interview in Al-Youm program on Al-Ekhbariya channel, Al-Foudan stated that friendly settlement initiative is one of the initiatives of the National Transformation Program that is looking to improve working conditions of expatriates. - He also explained that the most important studies now are integration with the Saudi Vision 2030, pointing out that labor lawsuits are being filed with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, which made every effort during the Corona pandemic to continue the work of friendly settlement to preserve the rights of the employer and the worker.
- He added that, earlier, the friendly settlement was done manually through the parties to the lawsuit, submission and attendance of sessions in public offices, but now the service is fully automated around the clock.
