Jawazat clarifies on How to enter into Saudi Arabia from suspended countries
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia clarified on how to enter the Kingdom from the suspended countries, after announcing the cancellation of home and institutional quarantine for those coming from abroad.
Jawazat explained that, those who are coming from suspended countries are required to stay in a third country from which the entry to Saudi Arabia is not suspended for a period of 14 days before coming to the Kingdom, in order to allow them to enter into Saudi Arabia.
- Saudi Jawazat also stated that the instructions specifies that visit visa holders must not go to suspended countries during the last 14 days, in order to enter into the Kingdom. See Also : Is it possible to cancel final exit visa without a fine?
- This came in response from Jawazat to an inquiry received from some people about the extent to which a visitor whose status is Immune on Tawakkalna application will be allowed into the Kingdom without the need to stay for 2 weeks in any third country, from which it is allowed to come.
- On 5th March, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior had announced lifting all corona virus restrictions including social distancing and wearing masks outdoor. The new regulations also remove mandatory PCR test, institutional or home quarantine after arriving to the Kingdom.
- All arrivals to the Kingdom on visit visas of all kinds are required to get an insurance that covers the costs of treatment from corona virus infection. Similar : Conditions for changing image on iqama
- The directive also cancelled the suspension of direct flights from South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Angola, Comoros, Lesotho, Mozambique, Mauritius, Zambia, Seychelles, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Afghanistan.
