This came in response after a question was received on Jawazat's Twitter account, asking,
"Peace be upon you, I have a question. I settled a final exit for a worker, and he did not left in the time, and the 60 days have passed, I want to cancel the exit in order to report him Absent From Work. The cancellation fee of 1,000 riyals appeared to me, Is there a solution without a fine?" Recommend : New rules of domestic worker provides weekly off, annual leave and end of service benefits
- Saudi Jawazat responded it sating, “In case of failure to leave within the 60-day period of validity of the visa, a fine of 1,000 riyals will be imposed to be able to cancel the visa, and a valid resident’s Iqama is required to be able to complete the procedure.” See Also : Payment of due bills is a condition to issue final exit visa
