Health Council specifies the maximum cost of Hearing aid during the Insurance policy period
The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance restated that the maximum cost of hearing air during the validity period of the insurance policy is 6,000 riyals, explaining that the insurance of the employed wife includes husband and her children. This came in response to an inquiry from one of citizen in this regard stating, the unified health insurance policy covers the cost of hearing aid with a maximum of 6,000 riyals during the term of the document.
- Earlier this, the Health insurance clarified that a married female employee includes her husband's health insurance, if she works in a government sector or not, her male children up to the age of 25 year and unmarried and unemployed daughters. - The Council stated that the insurance company must upload the names of the insured persons within a period not more than 48 hours and on the National Health Insurance Network system, after verifying the payment of the insurance premium.
- The health insurance council added that the insurance company sets the insurance premium on technical bases, based on age, sick history, nationality, insurance category, gender and health status.
- It is also required to properly disclose all diseases and health conditions for the purpose of pricing and to ensure access to health care services in the required manner, as per the benefits of the unified document. Recommend : 6 cases of birth costs covered by health insurance policy
