Non-Vaccinated domestic workers can enter into Saudi Arabia
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has clarified that, non-vaccinated domestic workers can enter into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a normal way and there is no need to provide PCR certificates for all travelers coming to the Kingdom. This came in response from GACA, after a Saudi Citizen inquired about the possibility of the domestic worker, who works for him coming to the Kingdom and have not yet received corona vaccine.
- To which GACA responded that the domestic workers who have not got corona vaccine can enter into Saudi Arabia in a normal way.
- Earlier this month, the Ministry of Interior announced allowing non-vaccinated resident expatriates to enter into Saudi Arabia, regardless of their vaccination status. The Ministry added that, there is no need to submit a negative PCR test certificate for those coming or entering into the Kingdom.
- The Ministry also scrapped the institutional and home quarantine applications for those coming to Saudi Arabia.
- GACA has confirmed previously that resident expatriates can enter the Kingdom without spending 14 day quarantine in a third country, according to report published in Saudi Gazette. Read : Saudi Arabia will no longer bear the costs of treating corona patients in private sector
