Public Prosecution warns against Trafficking in person and reveals its penalties
The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia warned against trafficking in persons, explaining that, it is a major crime that requires arrest. Trending : New regulations of Human Resources prohibits self-employment
The Public Prosecution in its infographic said that, It is prohibited to trade any person in any way by using, attaching, transporting, harboring or receiving them for the purpose of abuse. The penalties in this regard are imprisonment for a period of 15 years, and a fine of 1 million Saudi riyals.
- The Public Prosecution's office presented provisions from the anti-trafficking law to the effect that trafficking in persons to use, attach, transfer, harboring or reception of a person for the purpose of abuse. See Also : Cancellation of Final Exit during probation period - Jawazat
- The Authority added that the border-cross crime includes that the offense is of a “transnational” nature if it is committed in more than one country, or if it is committed in one country, but a large part of the preparation, planning, directing or supervision took place in another country, or If it is committed in one country, but an organized criminal group is involved in committing that engages in criminal activities in one country, or if it is committed in one country but has severe effects in another country.
- The Public Prosecution continued that, an organized criminal group includes any group consisting of 2 or more persons who committed an act of trafficking in persons in order to obtain, directly or indirectly, a material, financial or other benefit. Join Saudi Expatriates Telegram channel
