Saudi Arabia reports 1 Corona death in the last 24 hours, Total 9,002
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced just 476 new corona infections, 719 recoveries and 1 death, after performing 60,558 corona tests in the last 24 hours and on 2nd March 2022.
After the new infections, total corona cases in Saudi Arabia increased and reaches to 746,066 of them 725,107 recovered with 9,002 deaths. So far the Ministry of Health has conducted over 40.82 million corona tests since the beginning of the pandemic.
- Active cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom falls to 11,957 of which 522 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares of the hospitals and medical facilities. Since Yesterday, 32 people left intensive care units.
- Riyadh continuously tops in the list of active corona cases with 3,153, Jeddah has 2,961 active corona infections, Makkah with 1,268, Madina with 567, Dammam with 438, Hofouf has 379 cases, Taif with 210, Abha with 180, Tabuk with 165, Buraidah with 141, Yanbu with 128, Al Khobar with 119, while Jazan has 111 active corona cases.
- Saudi Arabia has administered over 61.16 million (61,164,335) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom and its regions with the help of 587 vaccination centers.
- The health ministry reported that of the total, more than 10.86 million doses are booster doses, over 24.22 million are second doses and 25.9 million are first doses and the elderly people received 1.947 million doses against corona virus.
