Saudi Arabia issues a decision on Saudization of number of professions in Entertainment sector and excluding professions, as of 23rd September 2022
The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) of Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Suleiman Al-Rajhi said a decision was issued on Saudization of a number of activities and professions in the entertainment sector, with the intention of providing more jobs to the sons and daughters of the Kingdom.
The Minister of MHRSD issued a decision to localize independent and seasonal entertainment cities and family entertainment centers by 70% and to settle entertainment cities within closed commercial complexes by 100%, as of 23rd September 2022 (27/02/1444).
- Al-Rajhi added that, Efforts integrated with our partners in the Entertainment Authority, to issue a decision to localize a number of activities and professions in the entertainment sector of the country. Trending : Saudization of these professions already implemented in Saudi Arabia
- The aim of the decision is to provide stimulating and productive job opportunities to the sons and daughters of Saudi Arabia in various regions of the Kingdom and to improve and raise the level of their contribution in the labor market and to enhance the contribution to the national economy.
The Ministry said the most prominent professions targeted in the Saudization of Entertainment sector are
* Branch Manager
* Department Manager
* Department Supervisor
* Assistant Branch Manager
* Accounting Fund Supervisor
* Customer Service Most viewed : Penalty on companies for not providing health insurance to its workers
* Sales specialist
* Marketing Specialist
3 jobs excluded from Saudization in Entertainment Sector :
- However, The decision excluded the 3 professions in the entertainment sector which are, cleaning worker, loading and unloading worker, operators of quality games that require operators with competencies and specialized certificates.
- With this decision, the Ministry issued a procedural guide to inform companies and employers and know the mechanism for calculating Saudization and penalties stipulated for violations. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Google News
