Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia calls for sighting the Crescent of Ramadan month on Friday (29th Shaban)
The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia called for investigating the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan on the evening of Friday (1st April 2022), 29th Shaban 1443 as per the Umm Al-Qura calendar, and inform the nearest court of those who see it with naked eye or through binoculars. The Supreme Court requests those who witness the crescent of the blessed month with the naked eye or through telescope to record his testimony with it, or contact the nearest center to help him reach the nearest court. Recommend : Working hours during Ramadan as per Saudi Labor Law
- The Court hopes that those who have the ability to take an interest in the matter can join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose, and calculate the reward by participating in it, because of the cooperation in righteousness and piety and the benefit of all Muslims.
- In case of the crescent sighted on Friday evening (1st April 2022), then Saturday (2nd April) will be the first day of Holy Ramadan and it will continue till the 29 or 30 days, as per the sighting of the crescent of Eid Al-Fitr.
