Updating Absher data is a condition to perform Umrah for those inside the Saudi Arabia

This came in response from the Ministry after one of the beneficiaries inquired, asking, “Is it necessary to make an appointment to perform Umrah?”
The official Twitter account for the care of clients of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah responded it stating, “To perform Umrah for those inside Saudi Arabia, the permit must be issued from the ‘Eatmarna’ application, and the beneficiary’s data must be updated with the Absher system, with a condition that the status appears as a Immune in Tawakkalna.” See Also : Is it allowed to perform Hajj on Business visa?
- The Ministry also explained that, "The minimum age for entering the Two Holy Mosques is 5 years, with an significance on the necessity that the health status to be immune,".
- The Hajj Ministry highlighted that, "You can go directly to the campus without the need to go through the assembly point, and transportation services are optional and not mandatory."
- Regarding Hajj the Ministry said, "The date for opening the application for Hajj 1443 (Hajj 2022) will be announced through the website of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the official channels of the ministry, and all conditions for the application will also be clarified."
